Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 27, 2009.

Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Marcia Beal, Patricia Caron and Nathan Gumlaw. Absent: James Wettlaufer.
Chairperson called the meeting to order.
The Minutes of October 13, 2009 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
Mary vandenBerg reported having been invited to meet with the Western Region DEP on Friday, October 23, 2009. Present at that meeting were Robert McCollum, Program Chief Wetland and Waterways, David B. Foulis, Environmental Analyst, Mark Stinson, Circuit Rider and Jane Pierce, Regional Planner, all from the DEP; from Geosyntec was Robert Hartzel; from PVPC was Ann Capra; from Lake Oversight Committee Lynn Arnold, Chairman and Mary vandenBerg, Chairman of the Holland Conservation Commission.
The Storm Water Management Standards for the Kimball Hill Rd., North Section and the Fenton Street projects were discussed. Mary vandenBerg requested a site visit from the DEP to these areas. Robert McCollum and Mark Stinson are scheduled to meet with the ConCom on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
Members signed the Order of Conditions for Allan Burrill of 26 Stony Hill Rd. Map R-35-C-14, DEP File #184-0239 to install a holding tank. Member signatures were notarized by Kristin LaPlante, Notary Public.
7:30 p.m. Allan Burrill was given his Order of Conditions.
7:45 p.m. David Hemsworth of 2 Collette Dr., Map R-14-A-03 presented his project to cut 3 trees 50 to 60 feet from the shoreline. All were in favor of the project. Mary vandenBerg signed procedure Sheet #2009-1373-Y.
7:55 p.m. Matt Raftery of 4 Williams Lane spoke of his concerns of losing his drilled shallow well water that he shares with a neighbor during the drawdown. We suggested that he contact a well company and speak to the Board of Health.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
